Her Excellency the Minister of Women’s Affairs visits Aisha Association for Woman and Child Protection

 

Dr.Amal Hamad, the Minister of Women’s Affairs and her Office Manager, Dr. Bassam Al- Wahidi visited Aisha Association, where they were greeted by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Elias Al-Jelda, the Executive Director of the Society, Ms. Reem Fraina, and the Director of Projects, Mrs. Maryam Abu Al-Ata with the aim of being introduced to the services provided by the Association to Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip.
During the visiting, the Minister was met by the association management where Mr. Elias welcomed the delegation, confirming the importance of this visiting which coincided with difficult conditions and a critical stage in the life of the Palestinian community, especially women and children from vulnerable groups in the Gaza Strip, which increased since the beginning of the pandemic last year. 
As well as, Ms. Reem gave a welcoming speech and presented the most important methodologies and strategies that the association follows to support  Palestinian women. 
She also thanked and appreciated Dr. Amal for the visiting and her supporting  the association and its staff, and for providing distinguished services to Palestinian women.
the delegation was taken in a tour inside Aisha Association departments to see the actual work process and the delivery of the different services.
Dr. Amal praised the efforts made in protecting and empowering women.
