Aisha Association provides a legal workshop on marriage, divorce and alimony for ‎a number of women who are cancer patients

Aisha Association for the Protection of Women and Children in Gaza, in cooperation with Basma Amal Foundation for Cancer Patients Care in Gaza, conducted a legal awareness-raising workshop on marriage, divorce, alimony, child custody, inheritance and property rights, during which more than (30) women (aged between 18 and over 59 years) were targeted.

All of them are cancer patients, noting that these women have previously been targeted in continuous psychological support sessions on the Eve Al Zahra Guide. They also attended an awareness workshop on women's rights, early marriage, gender-based violence, and protection mechanisms.

These activities all come within the framework of implementing the project (Protection and support for women and girls with disabilities and cancer survivors exposed to gender-based violence through a multi-sectoral response in the Gaza Strip) under the slogan (Transcend - Skip - Go), and this project is funded by United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
