Launching study entitled “ Mapping of Economic Spaces for Women Survivors of GBV in the Gaza Strip”
Aisha Association for Woman and Child Protection organized a workshop for launching study entitled " Mapping of Economic Spaces for Women Survivors of GBV in the Gaza " under the project "Strengthening the Humanitarian System for Women Survivors of Violence in the Northern and Central Areas of Gaza".
The project coordinator Kholoud Jwefil started the workshop by explaining the activities of the association and its achievements, as well as the programs that it implements.
The Director of Programs of the (APS), Hala Rezwq, emphasized the importance of publishing the study and the need to look for economic opportunities to empower women in the community.
During the session, the consultant of Aisha Association Dr. Said Abu Jalala gave a detailed presentation about the study, explaining the causes, themes, findings and recommendations of the study.
Economist Karim Okasha conducted a discussion about the economic opportunities for women who are graduate and non-graduate in the Gaza Strip, as well as the sectors available for employment and the development of small enterprises.
The Executive Manager of Aisha Association Reem Frenah concluded the workshop by thanking the attendees and sharing several recommendations, emphasizing the role of the Association over the past years in the field of economic empowerment of women.
