Aisha  Association for Woman and Child Protection conducted 4 awareness workshops on gender issues and personal status issues in the north of the  Gaza Strip  areas "Jabalia Al Maqasar and Beit Hanoun" Lawyer Eid Shukri discussed the concepts of gender and GBV  where he raised  the awareness about social roles (reproduction, production, social and political participation). Also lawyer "Shadi Elwia" discussed the personal status law on engagement , marriage, divorce and women's rights in general.  These  activities are a part of "legal empowerment  to the communities to support the legal rights for women and children in the north of the Gaza strip and Gaza city" Project, funded by "Sawasya" program. The joint program of UNDP, UN Woman and UNICEF in Palestine .
